Modern life is comfortable. In this comfortable setting NO MAN can face his fears or destroy his weaknesses. Let me show you how to face your fears and destroy your weaknesses, by doing things that suck... EVERY SINGLE DAY!

The issue with modern life
Look around you. Modern men are PATHETIC. The majority of men are overweight, stressed out because their needs aren't met at work or home, have a nagging wife and are wasting their life away by watching Netflix all day while being functional alcoholics.

Being comfortable is the worse thing that can happened to men. Once men become comfortable, they throw all their goals and ambitions out of the window. Only out of suffering and struggle can you achieve greatness!

Before being able to walk you crawled and crawled and tried to walk just to fall back to the ground again. But eventually you learned how to keep on walking! Before being able to ride your bike, you fell more then 100 times as a kid. You suffered, and only because of that you could grow.

But what if we can apply suffering and struggling in our lives to destroy weakness and face fear? First you have to go within yourself!

Self reflection
Sit down and take time to self reflect on what is bothering you. Do you feel anxiety, insecurity, lazy, undisciplined? Write it down! Now, you really have to humble yourself and be honest about the things in your life you want to fix.

By being completely honest, you will have the most success! By doing something that you hate everyday, you start callus your mind and realize that everything comes to an end. The feeling you have after you complete it is the feeling of victory! I think that is what we are all looking for in life. Then you realize you have to do it again the next day. That is why I tell everyone that my life has no finish line. Life is about constantly challenging yourself to get outside your comfort zone. Life is unpredictable. There is no way around it. All we can do is just embrace the suck and pain!

Double down method
Once you know what is bothering you, you should write down both the easy solution and optimum solution to fix it. I call this the Double Down method. The double down method will bring your astronomically further in destroying your weaknesses and facing your fears then average humans in this current day and age. Let me give you an example on two things that bothered me in life:

What bothered me - I hated doing cardio when I was younger, because I was untrained so it hurt my lungs and heart. I was also afraid of the dark. I would feel anxious and my mind would be aware of invisible dangers.

Easy solution - Start a easy running program and gradually work your way up to a end goal of 5km. Meanwhile, go to therapy to talk about your fear of the darkness.

Optimum solution - Start a running program and run in complete darkness in rural areas with a end goal of 80km (ultra marathon) in mind. The training will ALWAYS be done in complete darkness.

Reading my optimum solution, you might feel intimidated or think that I am CRAZY! That's a normal reaction, since doing such hard things is not normal in this modern society. It was however, in times of Spartan war. The Spartan soldiers were one of the mightiest and fiercest soldiers who ever roamed earth. So why not learn from history?

As you can see, I really want you to double down on your weaknesses and NOT your strengths. This is the key to facing your fears and destroying your weaknesses!

Don't be pressured in doing dangerous things, like conquering your fear of water by swimming in the open ocean. Your safety should always be your number one priority. Make sure to always have a partner with you if you do activities that might impact your health negatively. Good luck!
