The Cinnamon Bush Frog (
Nyctixalus pictus) is a rainforest frog that can be found in the Bukit Timah and Central Catchment Nature Reserves.
Unlike most frogs, this species lays its eggs in tree cavities which are considered a rare microhabitat in Singapore’s rainforests.
Another fun fact – a soft "poop" call can be heard by males in the evening!
