The Elephant Fern (
Angiopteris evecta) has massive leaves that can grow to about 3 by 2 metres! Even its leaflets are ‘elephant-sized’, measuring about 1 metre or longer!
Due to its size, this large, attractive native fern is often used as an ornamental plant in landscape design.
