It’s Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve’s anniversary! On this day in 1993, Sungei Buloh was first opened as a Nature Park. It has since been gazetted as a Nature Reserve, and is also Singapore’s first ASEAN Heritage Park!
Comprising 202 hectares of mangroves, mudflats, ponds, and forests, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a haven for many of our native flora and fauna, and even migratory species like this Common Sandpiper (
Actitis hypoleucos).
