Uvaria grandiflora) has attractive fragrant flowers with red triangular petals.
The aromatic orange berry-like fruits are edible, can be eaten either raw or preserved. In Malaysia, the leaves and roots are cooked and eaten to treat abdominal pains and skin diseases.
