The beautiful Nipis Kulik or Blue Strawberry Flowers (
Memecylon caeruleum) has clusters of deep blue or dark purple flowers. Each flower is only 1-cm wide and has petals borne on a pink floral cup. That’s not all, check out the purple-white U-shaped anthers!
Its edible but tasteless berries ripen from pink or dark red to deep purple or black.
