Have you seen these distinctive arrow-shaped leaves before? Th | NParks Buzz

Have you seen these distinctive arrow-shaped leaves before? These leaves belong to the native Keladi Rimau (Alocasia longiloba) and look dark green from above but have a light green or purple underside!

A member of the family of aroids (Araceae), they are often grown as indoor ornamental plants for these attractive arrow-shaped leaves and tolerance for shaded conditions. In the wild, they are found in rainforests, swamp forests as well as along cliffs and riverbanks. Look out for them the next time you go on a walk.
