A catfish walks into a forest…
Well to be exact, the Forest Walking Catfish (
Clarias leiacanthus) wiggles in a snake-like manner across land, using its pectoral fins to keep itself upright in the process.
This allows it to travel to nearby aquatic environments, as it lives in slow-moving and stagnant waters such as forest streams and swamps.
