Hi @everyone, we are happy to report that the NuCypher network is now fully live and decentralized.

The contracts have been activated

Ownership of the contracts has been transferred to the NuCypher DAO

All the NU and NU stakes have been distributed

Nodes are successfully checking in for their first period (currently >600 nodes have launched woman_construction_worker ).

If you have unlocked NU it should be in the address you provided.

If you have a vested/locked NU stake, you should be able to view it using the CLI and/or one of the staking GUIs. You can stake and bond to a Worker node and begin earning inflationary NU.

If you used CoinList, you don't need to worry about any of the above.

Preallocation stakes (not unlocked SAFT 1 or CASI NU) have also been distributed.

You can bond your stake to a worker node, however, you will not be able to start working, earning NU inflation, or winding down until the StakingEscrow contract is activated on October 15. Open / Comment

2020-10-01 03:18:58 The WorkLock cancellation period is now closed. There were 17 cancellations amounting to 584.99 ETH.

The final numbers for WorkLock:
* 353,913 total ETH locked
* 2,011 nodes committed

As a reminder, October 15 is the target date for mainnet launch. Once the contracts are activated on that date, you'll be able to claim your WorkLock NU and bond it to a worker node.

2020-09-30 18:26:03 We’re excited to share the proposed date for NuCypher’s mainnet launch: October 15!

This will give everyone an opportunity to make final preparations for running nodes and help ensure a smooth transition to mainnet. (*NOTE* If you participated through CoinList you will not need to run a node CoinList/Bison Trails is doing this on your behalf). Over the next two weeks, we recommend running a testnet node and ironing out any operational details. As always you can get help from us and other stakers/node operators in NuCypher’s discord - #staking .

Once we've activated the network on the proposed date of October 15 you will be able to:
