JUST IN | OVER 19,000 CASES
The Dept. of Health tallies a new daily-high of 19,441 infections on August 28, along with 167 additional deaths. The Philippines is now nearing two million total COVID-19 cases. Of the 71,620 tested as of August 26, there were 27.5% who turned out to be positive--which is also another record.
