The Philippines reported another record high number of infections at 22,366 on August 30, pushing the country at the brink of two million total COVID-19 cases. This is the second time in a week that the Philippines broke the record for most infections added in a day. The positivity rate for 65,237 individuals tested turned out to be 27.5%, matching the rate on Saturday.
