Funny!!
This is exactly how we were describing what some Mormon Missionaries are really doing on their "Missions".
Don't confuse the word "Mission" for "Mission".
They're both operational terms.
Mormon Missionaries / 95th Civil Affairs Brigade
Foreign Missions / Adept at working in foreign environments
Mission Training Center (MTC) / Trained to converse with local "stake"holders in their language
"Companions" and "Areas" / Teams may work for months or years in remote areas.
"Fellowship" and "Tracting" / Their low profile and command structure allow them to solidify key relationships and processes...
"Service Projects" /...to address root causes of instability.
Jeff Flake, current Ambassador to TURKEY went to AFRICA on his "Mission" and speaks fluent "Afrikaans".
Mission? Or, Mission?
Compare both missions for yourself.
