The Word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path! The Wisdom of proverbs has been a blessing in my walk with Christ! The clarity of wisdom, it’s clear instructions and it’s Spiritual nutrition is wonderful! Habakkuk 1:2-5
[2] O LORD, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!”
and you will not save? [3] Why do you make me see iniquity,
and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me, strife and contention arise. 4] So the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous;
so justice goes forth perverted.

Only God knows the heart of mankind, but be on the look out, because fruit of the Spirit reveals itself so clearly in action!

Pretending to be of the faith is easy, but contented for the faith, living out the Romans 8 kind of Spirit driven life is another thing!

Romans 8:6-8
[6] For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. [7] For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. [8] Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

There’s always a great temptation to walk in the flesh and when we choose to do so we will be like the person of Proverbs who is considered a worthless person.

Proverbs 6:12-19
[12] A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech,[13] winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, [14] with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord; [15] therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.
[16] There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him:[17] haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [18] a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, [19] a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.

Let us Fix our eyes on the prize, yeah we’ve all made mistakes, yeah we’ve all sinned, but we must repent of our sins and press forward!

Philippians 3:13-16
[13] Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, [14] I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. [16] Only let us hold true to what we have attained.

So, one final thought!
