Here is a word that I want you to consider today! The Word of | Family Bible Fellowship of Ridgeville

Here is a word that I want you to consider today! The Word of the Day is Identity! Who are you? What is your Identity? It was Paul that spoke to Timothy these words as a reminded to think and to pay attention to his identity. 1 Timothy 4:16 "16
Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you" who you are, your identity matters. Understanding who are and who you are not will refine your understanding of what you must do today. If you are not in Christ, then understanding that you are an unforgiven sinner that needs to repent and believe the Gospel, that you are a lost soul that is certainly head for eternal destruction! For the Christian who has trusted in Christ alone for salvation, understanding that God has granted you forgiveness, not because you are something special, or deserve it, rather out of His grace on your life, you are a child of God, redeemed, regenerated, set free from the life of sin. Who you are matters, so pay close attention to yourself, to many times you are so concerned about this person or that person you fail to see yourself, that pride and hypocrisy. Never forget to pay attention to yourself, Galatians 5, get your self along, pray and ask God to show you the true you by your very own actions, because there are the deeds of the Flesh and the deeds of the Spirit, they define you, they identity you by the way you walk, the things you do. Be honest in considering your identity, because Romans 8:29 says "29
Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers" You were predestined to be life Jesus, not like the devil... 2 Corinthians 3:18 says "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." You as a believer must be transformed..... and not only that but also in your mind.... Romans 12:2 says "2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may approve what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect." there must be spiritual formation in your life, called sanctification, because He who began a good work in your will see it to completion. So who are you? Know your identity.... and pray God will transform you into His image, by the life you live, not the post you make. ANYONE can act Christian, post Christian, but you can't fake lifestyle. Who are you? Consider your identity until Christ is formed in you!
