Trust me when I say I've been through war. My hands had been bloodied, My body had been scarred; Still I keep thinking to myself, I've reached nowhere Even though I've come so far. I've been afraid of darkness, So I keep the door ajar. For the little light I see, is enough for me to hold onto Or it might just be the effects of placebo. But somewhere inside of me I've been fighting another war. A war where it is me against myself, Slowly trying to get better. I build castles of cards everyday, Only to watch them shatter. Trust me when I say I've been through war.
