Financial independence is frequently discussed in motivational contents, along with its advantages and techniques for achieving it. As per the online definition, “Financial independence is the status of having enough income or wealth sufficient to pay one's living expenses for the rest of one's life without having to be employed or dependent on others.”

Every time I read one of these articles, I feel as though something is missing. Before beginning your journey toward financial independence, there is a prerequisite to meet. Directly beginning your journey toward financial independence is comparable to embarking on a trek without your shoes and backpack. You are merely inviting unnecessary problems and difficulties.
