Although it doesn’t seem like such a big deal now, this was huge for me. This was a time in 2017 when I think I was sitting on a trading account balance of around R150,000 or so. Although I had been making money consistently for quite a few months, I hadn’t made any significant withdrawals to spoil myself and this was it!
I was a university student living on R3,000 per month sitting on a pile of cash in my trading account so this R13,000 that I had just withdrawn was more than a dream come true!! It was more money than I knew what to do with.
I’m sure some of the traders in this group can relate to this...
