The truth is that anyone who is somewhat intelligent, hard working and focused can have an influence on the world. And yes, the existence of social media has empowered anyone to do that, which is somewhat frightening.

However, I’d much rather run the risk of misguided people having access to that power than evil people having a monopoly over it.
