Musk's ‘Bad Feeling’ about Economy, Aims to Cut 10% of Tesla Jobs – media
Elon Musk has a "super bad feeling" about the economy, and plans to let go 10% of Tesla employees, the CEO reportedly told execs in an email titled “pause all hiring worldwide”. (Reuters)
According to the annual SEC filing, Tesla employed around 100,000 people as of 2021.
Earlier this week Musk told staff to either do 40 hours a week from the office, or leave the company. The demand has already faced a pushback in places like Germany after the opening of Tesla's Gigafactory.
