US Afghan Bailout, Evacuation Promises Stall: Afghans Stuck in Balkan Camps over Security Concerns
While 78,000 Afghans have made their way to the US since the Taliban's takeover, many who are still undergoing security vetting have been left in baking hot camps in Kosovo - with little or no chance of ever making it.
Protests have now broken out at Camp Bondsteel demanding justice. The unsuccessful evacuation and resettlement has been given little attention by the MSM.
It's claimed some of the dozens stuck in Kosovo have failed what's being described as a multi-layered screening process. And one flag can mean a whole family is stuck. The lease on the camp has now been extended until August 2023, and the fate of many there is totally up in the air.
