Porter News runs as a rapid-fire bulletin board for crypto and macro headlines, each post opening with a "JUST IN" flash and rarely running past two lines. The feed mixes three recurring threads: crypto price and liquidation alerts (Bitcoin and Ethereum crossing round-number thresholds, billions in shorts wiped out within an hour), US political and fiscal one-liners (tariff claims, Treasury debt buybacks, UN payments, White House remarks), and market reactions in crypto-adjacent stocks like Coinbase, Robinhood, MicroStrategy and Riot. Posting is frequent, typically two to three items a day, sometimes more when markets move fast.
What stands out immediately is that almost every single post carries a sponsor tag for a crypto casino and sportsbook, appended as a fixed line at the end regardless of the news item above it. It is not an occasional banner ad but a structural part of the format — the news is short enough that the promotional tagline often takes up as much space as the actual headline. On top of that, the channel has run at least one paid post for an unrelated "VIP trading floor" invite pitching a private algorithm with a countdown and a limited-seats gimmick, the kind of pressure-tactic ad that has nothing to do with the channel's stated news beat.
On the plus side, the news itself is terse and reads like a wire ticker rather than opinion content — good for someone who wants headline-level awareness of crypto and macro-adjacent moves without commentary or analysis. There's no attempt to explain context, no charts, no follow-up threads; each item stands alone as a single fact or claim. That works for a quick scroll but means the channel offers no depth: you get the "what" (price hit X, official said Y) without any "why" or "so what."
Who this suits: traders and crypto-adjacent news junkies who want a fast, low-effort stream of headline snippets and don't mind wading through a sponsor mention attached to nearly every post. Who should skip it: anyone looking for analysis, verified sourcing, or a feed free of gambling promotion — the casino sponsorship is pervasive enough that it effectively co-brands the channel, and the occasional unrelated ad campaign adds another layer of promotional noise on top of the news itself.
