Unity has announced a demo game, Gigaya, which will teach aspiring developers how to create games.

The demo game is a platformer with puzzle elements. The project is aimed primarily at novice developers who want to understand the basics of game development. The release of the project is scheduled for this year.

Gigay is a fully finished game. It can be run as a build or as a Unity project. Developers will be able to download a free demo project and study its structure.

The source code of the game and all the resources will be available for download in the Unity Asset Store, and the finished build will be released on Steam.
