How we've created a comfortable working environment in the office and at home.

Progress app is rapidly expanding its staff, so we build interaction processes within the company so as to create comfortable conditions for working both in the office and remotely.

While maintaining efficiency, some of the team works remotely without considering going into the office. However, there are those to whom the usual organized nature of office life is closer. For both, there are a number of rules and perks that help maintain productivity and communication.

Let's consider the main ones:

Freedom, in return for responsibility. Everyone chooses when their workday begins. But there are uniform conditions for all team members. From 12 to 16 we organize all internal rallies in Discord, plan the week, discuss ongoing projects and deal with issues that have arisen. During this time, employees should be able to connect to the dialogue, be in touch. This approach helps to maintain productivity, manage their day independently and sort out the issues that have arisen several times faster.

Logging of time spent. In order to be able to correctly estimate the time required for a task in the future, we use a system of logging. This helps us solve our main business task - to understand how much time is spent on a project.

Attention to workplace organization. This point applies to the part of the team that works in the office. Statistics say that those who work in a well-organized office are happier, more efficient and more motivated than the rest. The team spends most of the day at work, so providing them with comfortable living conditions comes first.

Corporate culture. Joint leisure activities have become an integral part of work in the Progress app. Corporate events are especially important for remote employees, when meetings take place not only online but also in person.

Как мы создали комфортные условия для работы в офисе и дома.

Progress app стремительно расширяет штат, поэтому мы выстраиваем процессы взаимодействия внутри компании так, чтобы создать комфортные условия для работы как в офисе, так и удаленно.

Сохранив эффективность, часть команды работает удаленно, не рассматривая выход в офис. Однако, есть те, кому ближе привычная организованность офисной жизни. Для тех и других существует ряд правил и бонусов, которые способствуют сохранению продуктивности и налаживанию коммуникаций.

Рассмотрим основные:

Свобода, взамен на ответственность. Каждый сам выбирает, когда будет начинаться его рабочий день. Но существуют единые условия для всех членов команды. С 12 до 16 мы организовываем все внутренние митинги в Discord, планируем неделю, обсуждаем текущие проекты и разбираем возникшие вопросы. В это время сотрудники должны иметь возможность подключиться к диалогу, быть на связи. Такой подход помогает сохранять продуктивность, самостоятельно управлять своим днем и разбирать появившиеся вопросы в разы быстрее.

Логирование затраченного времени. Чтобы в будущем уметь правильно оценивать необходимое на задачу время, мы используем систему логирования. Это помогает решить нам основную бизнес-задачу — понять сколько на проект уходит времени.

Внимание к организации рабочего места. Этот пункт относится к той части команды, которая работает в офисе. Статистика гласит — те, кто работает в обустроенном офисе счастливее, эффективнее и замотивированнее остальных. Команда проводит на работе большую часть дня, поэтому обеспечение их комфортными бытовыми условиями стоит на первом месте.

Корпкультура. Совместный досуг стал неотъемлимой частью работы в Progress app. Корпоративные мероприятия особенно важны сотрудникам на удалёнке, когда встречи происходят не только на митингах в сети, но и вживую.
