PART 1
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury

Since their arrest, many of the accused, have been wasting away in prison for over a year. They haven't seen their families or friends. At least one has a child that was born after his arrest that he's never met. Don't even ask where they'll find an impartial jury in DC. That would be a miracle. These men should be released immediately and returned to their families if the government isn't ready to prosecute them. Their trials should be moved to a new location where an impartial jury can be provided.

PART 2
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

Most of these men haven't been given the discovery evidence. They haven't been able to meet with their attorney. They've spent most of their time being transferred from prison to prison and having to quarantine for weeks when arriving at each new location. Joe Biggs has been in solitary confinement for months. That is cruel and unusual punishment for a combat veteran of the United States Army, twice awarded a Purple Heart while serving several tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Open / Comment
