2022-08-18 22:36:56 A judge ordered the DOJ to unseal at least some of the probable cause affidavit used to search Mar-a-Lago.

"Judge Reinhart said he would 'give the government a full and fair opportunity' to make redactions to the document, and ordered them to turn in the redacted version by next Thursday. He said he would then review the document and either order its release if he agrees with the redaction or hold a closed-door hearing with the government if he disagrees."

The judge is leaning towards unsealing part of the affidavit submitted in support of the search warrant of Trump's Mar-A-Lago residence.

DOJ is ordered to file an affidavit with proposed redactions by August 25.

We suspect the affidavit may be unsealed, with redactions, by August 26 at the earliest. (Assuming the judge doesn't change his position.) Open / Comment
