It seems like the more I think about it, the more my brain hurts from the sheer lack of thinking put in to it.
On the game of thrones wiki’s there were at least 35,000 other soldier types across the who joined Dany to defend Winterfell. That’s EXCLUDING the alleged 100,000 Dothraki horsemen (but includes the Unsullied & Wildlings).

If the wights were only 100,000 strong, would not the sheer charge of a 100,000 man cavalry charge not literally turn them into crushed bone? That’s excluding the fact that they had flaming swords? 135,000 soldiers vs 100,000 zombies? Even the giants wouldn’t have stood a chance against that.
