SOCIAL MEDIA & THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Social media is an incredible tool to spread truth and the light of Yeshua to the nations. It is an incredible privilege to be able to reach people otherwise that would not be reached. We are so grateful for the blessing of a strong social media presence that was a gift from God to bring Him more glory and edify the body of Christ. We pray that we always steward it to give Him honor.

But it’s important that people use discernment when following a page, minister, church or organization on social media.

Why?

Anyone can manipulate a social media algorithm. Anyone can buy shares and likes. Everything is for sale today! Deception is everywhere! Illusions abound in the social media space.

Social media influence doesn’t always mean real influence. And it certainly doesn’t automatically mean Kingdom Authority and good fruit although often times those with kingdom authority and good fruit ALSO have a strong social media influence. But I know people who are some of the most powerful men and women of God I have ever met and they don’t have a strong social media influence. As a matter of fact some of the most anointed people I have met don’t. The point I am making is that social media influence could be an indicator, but it is not to be automatically assumed. I know some “ministers” and false prophets that have massive followings! And they are preaching A FALSE GOSPEL!

The key is to discern who is who and what is what.

The point is that in the day in which we live 1 doesn’t always equal 1. In this day and age much of what you see is manufactured. It is not hard to examine the fruit and see what is real and what isn’t if you truly take the time to examine.

The question is: When you strip away all of numbers and lights and images what remains? What is the foundation? What’s is the message? Is it Biblically SOLID? Is the Holy Spirit moving freely? Is there urgency? How is their marriage? How is their family? How are their relationships? What is the real impact of the ministry? Are people following being blessed and truly fed the word? Is it really all about The Lord? Or is it really about something else?

In this day and age of great deception it is important that you truly know who and what you are listening to and who you are allowing to speak into your life.

Just because they use the name of the Lord doesn’t mean ANYTHING! People use His Name in vain every day!

TEST THEIR SPIRIT & EXAMINE THEIR FRUIT!
