An F-18 FDG PET/CT scan of the head was performed. Shown below are attenuation-corrected axial PET images through the brain. In addition, 2D and 3D stereotactic spatial normalization maps (SSP) are shown, which display Z-score differences between the current patient and healthy age-matched controls, wherein darker colors indicate lower levels of FDG uptake relative to control individuals.
