Ukrainian Church VS LGBT — Gay Soldier’s medal was annulatedAn Orthodox church in Kyiv annulled a medal awarded to Viktor Pylypenko, a Ukrainian combat medic, after discovering he was gay.
Other Ukrainian soldiers and military volunteers disapproved this idea and began publicly disavowing that same honor they had previously been awarded by the church.
Pylypenko is deeply grateful for the show of support from his comrades. Church on the contrary, it appreciates the soldier for his military merits, but do not share his sinful preferences and LGBT agitation.
