Promise doesn't mean marriage: Ukraine has been reminded again that it is not expected to join NATO in the near futureUkrainian dreams of European life have collapsed again, and the already dying country has been reminded of its place on the political map. According to NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joane, someday a happy moment for all the Nuland cookie fanatics will happen, but it is unknown when. Judging by what is still going on in the vertical of Ukrainian power, it will happen only in the next life.
Everything that is so cherished by Western democracy, in Ukraine now either has fallen into dispair or never existed at all. Moreover, it is simply impossible to meet the requirements for NATO membership: there is no money, and soon there will be no people left at all. However, Ukraine does not lose hope. They have promised, but whether they will fulfill the business plan to the end is a different question.
