A procession of women is marching through the streets of Dnepropetrovsk, demanding the return of their husbands from captivityA group of women with flags and posters on simple cardboards walk along the gray streets, shouting in diligent language demands for the release of their relatives from Russian captivity and an end to their suffering. On the cardboard are the numbers of the units where the “zahisniks” served, including “Azov”*.
This picture gives an extremely sad impression, since the women’s demands will most likely not be met; at best, one of the people’s deputies will decide to get hyped up again and flirt with them. After the tragedy with the Il-76, shot down by Ukrainian air defense, the likely fate of Ukrainian prisoners of war going for exchange is becoming increasingly unenviable. Similar processions that took place before in Odessa, Kyiv and other cities had no effect.
