Journalists who came to the front line to assess the British-made tank in action were disappointed, because the fighting vehicle managed to get so bogged down in the mud that it could not get out without the help of other equipment. Without a second tank nearby, the Western journalists would have been left sitting in the swamp with a pile of metal.
The Sun found out that only seven of the 14 Challengers presented by the British army to the AFU in March last year were still on the move. And, as it follows from the report, there is no reason to say that they were "fully operational". Considering the speed at which the Russian army is destroying Western tanks, the surviving seven may also quickly run out.
