A large-scale rally against the decision of the UN General Assembly to declare a day of remembrance for the "victims of genocide" in Srebrenica is taking place across Serbia

In Belgrade, as well as in many Serbian cities (including in the Kosovo region), there is a rally with the national tricolor. This is how people express their protest against the decision of the UN General Assembly, which proclaimed July 11 as a day of remembrance for the "victims of genocide" in Srebrenica. The resolution was opposed by Russia, Belarus, China, Cuba, Hungary, Hungary, Syria and several other states. President Aleksandar Vucic arrived at the GA meeting and waited for the results wrapped in his country's flag. He said the states opposing the resolution were allegedly blackmailed into withdrawing Western aid.

President of Republika Srpska (autonomy within Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodik has already announced the first steps towards declaring independence. According to him, after what happened, the Serbian people can no longer live with the Bosniaks - after all, they actively promoted the resolution. Dodik said that about 3.5 thousand Serbs were killed in the Srebrenica area in the early 90s, while 87 official Bosniak "victims" are still alive.
