The G7 countries will not boycott the G20 with Russia's participation
No G7 state intends to completely boycott the meetings of finance ministers of the Group of Twenty with the participation of Russia.
The meeting of the heads of Central Banks and finance ministries of the G20 member countries will be held on April 20 as part of the spring session of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington. Indonesia is the organizer of the summit this year.
The Russian delegation will be headed by Anton Siluanov, the head of the Russian Finance Ministry, and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will travel from the United States. Earlier, the White House stated that the head of the US Treasury Department would refuse to participate if there were representatives of Russia at the talks, and Joe Biden advocated the exclusion of Russia from the G20.
