Mississippi may be the most corrupt state in the nation. And yes. We are perverted like California, but they don’t lie about it and cover it up.

I’m overcome with emotion about the story of Moses today as Harper and I work on an end of the year project on Moses.

In to the political climate, Moses was born. He was destined for destruction by the sick, ungodly world, but by the hand of the Sovereign God, he was preserved to fulfill a promise of deliverance made hundreds of years early.

The midwives were instructed to kill the babies, but they FEARED. THE. LORD. (Exodus 1:15-21)

God will accomplish his providential protection and he will accomplish his purpose through imperfect humans, whether rulers or those they enslave.

His Word is final. We don’t base our thought or actions on what we think is or isn’t happening around us. We base our actions on the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Do you have the holy fear the midwives had to go against the Pharaoh’s we have in Mississippi and in the nation who seek to kill, steal, and destroy? Because they are jealous, self-seeking, and intimidated by the people of God?

Prepare your tar, your pitch, gather your baskets. Put your beloved in the basket and trust God. Protect life no matter what.

The Sojourn of the Christian will not be easy. But fear the Lord first.

Stand against tyranny. Stand against mandated schedules for babies and kids and adults. Stand against profiteering companies who injure others with no remorse. Stand against anything that usurps the first institution, the family.

Stand against anything which seeks to take out an entire people group and reduce the number of people who would stand against the tyrants, the modern day Pharaohs. God’s word is FINAL.
