Do people think they can leave a garden unattended and the weeds won’t grow in to and take over?

I give you the Mississippi legislature. Overrun with weeds, varmints, pestilence, and rot.

Mississippi citizenry has allowed it, too, by abdicating their responsibility (of MANY things) thinking someone else will take better care of “your things” than you.

It’s what we get. That is called “cause and effect.”

Earthly nations aren’t judged in the afterlife. Individuals are. But the providence of God allows nations to be given over to their own depravity, and that is the consequence they suffer. If America, and very inclusive of Mississippi, is to be saved in this lifetime, if will only he because of the mercy and Grace of God to a people who have humbled themselves and love the Righteousess of God more than self. They will love Faith, morality, law and education by God’s design more than self.

There is no other way.
