Observation. As people are going back and forth on what distri | Rebecca Chaney

Observation. As people are going back and forth on what district they are in, what candidate to support or not support, I notice a pattern that most tend to say as they summarize their most critical point, “well, it boils down to this….” Then, it’s typically followed by 1. And 2. Or A. And B, and one of those is usually inclusive of: “unseat the incumbent.” That isn’t in itself bad or wrong, and I have zero issue unseating someone who doesn’t deserve to hold office.

But what if that/those questions aren’t the most important question to pursue as the ultimate headlining question? Important to unseat unworthy candidates? Yes. But what if we are asking the wrong question as our “ultimate question?”

What if the main point and critical takeaway is C: “Sacred duty ours, results are God’s.” Meaning: Obey what you feel the Lord would lead. Don’t box Holy Spirit in. Vote Conscience. Trust God. He’s not on our timeline. We are on His.”

Be Holy. As long as you are doing what you feel the Lord leads you to. Be bold and do it. I’m not your judge. And you’re no one Else’s either.

No. This isn’t code. I meant what I said with clarity and precision. I’ve noticed it. I’m speaking to it.

Also, argument is good. There is an art to it. It doesn’t have to be led by emotion but logic and reason and the Spirit of God. Embrace debate. But do not forget there is nothing new under the Sun.

God is moving. Move in that life giving flow, and don’t compromise. The Greatness of God is incomprehensible.
