Who's having a fun Friday: 60 people got into a scuffle on a Carnival Magic cruise ship over another man's threesome
According to the New York Post, security had to call the Coast Guard to escort the ship to shore. New York police were waiting for the ship at the dock.
According to travel agent Teresa James, the fight began at 2 a.m. on the fifth floor of the ship, where the club and casino were located. She watched the scuffle from her cabin. She notes that the fight began after two passengers began arguing with their partners when they found out they were cheating on them in a "tee time." The brawlers began hitting bottles, and one woman was cut with shrapnel.
James said the fight lasted about an hour, during which time the participants managed to go from the fifth floor to the ground floor. The travel agent called the guests involved in the fight "ignorant, stupid fools" and said the situation could have been worse if security hadn't intervened to get it under control.
