So Twitter, as the Musk deal went through, probably decided to delete a good chunk of their "artificial booster bots." You know those that like, retweet and reply to unpopular crap to make it seem more engaging than it actually is. They probably did this because they do not want this "evidence" to end up in Musk's hands as it could expose, at least in part. some of their little tricks.
So that's why left-wing accounts lost followers but how do we explain more prominent mainstream right-wing account gaining so many followers? We have even seen a whole new level of (what looks to be) organic growth on our own accounts again too. Most they had some kind of follower throttling on "bad" accounts or delay? Once they let the throttling go a bunch of those delayed follows came in at once? Maybe someone has a better explanation for it but it is interesting. See post below:
