​Senior Devops / PostgreSQL Admin

Salary: USD 80K-120K

Lifetimely is a fast-growing ecommerce analytics company looking for a Senior DevOps with PostgreSQL expertise to help us manage and take ownership of our bare metal servers and databases. If you have experience managing machines with Ansible (or any other server automation tool) and also managed PostgreSQL servers before, then we want to hear from you!

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our databases, as well as implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in the following:

5+ years of PostgreSQL experience
Storage tuning
Experience with PGBackRest or any other backup solution

Additionally, we will highly value experience with:

Bare metal servers
Being Ubuntu admin
Docker
Nomad ( or Kubernetes ) experience

Other:

You should be humble, can mentor others, both provide and receive direction and be always willing to share what you learn.
Location: prefer America / Europe / Africa
