John Pierce, Texas attorney Lawson Pedigo. and I formed #FightBack, a Texas 501(c)(4) foundation last summer. I met John and Lawson when they asked me to assist in representing Carter Page in a defamation case against Oath and Yahoo in Delaware. I withdrew from Carter’s case after a Delaware judge on his own motion revoked my pro hac vice license in the case. I had withdrawn from the case at Carter’s request to avoid delay in his case resulting from my pro hac license dispute.

The judge’s revocation of my pro hac license was in my opinion clearly erroneous and based on a partisan political agenda. The ruling is presently on appeal before the Supreme Court of Delaware.

Consistent with its mission to fight for the Bill of the Bill of Rights, #FightBack, among several endeavors, donated funds for legal fees for the defense of Kyle Rittenhouse. When John was hired as Kyle’s criminal defense lawyer, John resigned and severed his ties with #FightBack to avoid a conflict of interest.

After #FightBack raised the funds for Kyle’s $2M cash bail, John instructed #FightBack to cease any fundraising efforts for Kyle as he and another individual were going to handle future fundraising efforts for Kyle. #FightBack immediately honored the request and ceased its efforts for Kyle. The directors of #FightBack are proud of the foundation’s efforts to help Kyle despite being subjected to false smears by individuals affiliated with Kyle’s team and the Mockingbird Propaganda Rags.

I later learned at some point that John was no longer representing Kyle and was trying to help the D.C. political prisoners.

After #FightBack was formed, I learned that John was struggling with a number of personal issues. I tried to help him, particularly from a spiritual standpoint. I pray that John eventually came to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and found peace.

Differences aside, I am saddened to learn of his medical condition and I pray for him. I ask you to consider praying for John too.

Jesus teaches us to love ALL and forgive ALL. It is not always easy as we are imperfect. But we should always try our best to do so.
