Summary of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah’s recent speech on the maritime situation in Lebanon

The “Karish gas field” is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and could be the key to getting Lebanon out of its economic crisis. As a result of that, the Lebanese people should unite in calling for the government to maintain it.

Hezbollah is not against the ongoing negotiations taking place and will not interfere unless called upon by the Lebanese government to do so.

In this blatant violation of Lebanese territory, Israel is expressing its utter disregard for Lebanese sovereignty and legitimacy.

Hezbollah does not want war but does not fear it. An all-out conflict with the Israeli tumor will not be limited to Lebanon and could spell the eradication of the entity.

The Lebanese government must act decisively during the negotiations as the loss of it’s legitimacy could lead to increased hunger and suffering amongst the Lebanese people. This could erupt in a calamitous event even worse than civil war.
