Mercedes speed ahead of Tesla in long-distance EV battle - 1,000km on ONE charge
Mercedes’ new prototype EQXX car has burst further ahead of Tesla to claim the longest range driven by an electric car, managing over 1,000km on a single charge at speeds of 87mph.
The new flagship Mercedes electric car drove from Germany to France’s south coast and still had 15% juice left. The German automaker plans to spend $65 billion through 2026 to fend off Tesla’s status in the EV market.
