17 gangs behind ‘extremely coordinated’ surge of follow-home robberies in LA - Police
LAPD has tied at least 17 gangs from South LA to the surge of “follow-home” robberies targeting people who wear jewelry or drive luxury vehicles throughout the city.
Police believe robbers are in contact with each other, sometimes with “spotters” inside businesses watching for victims and letting crew members outside know who to keep an eye on.
Despite attempts to crack down on the perpetrators, a recent “resurgence” has occurred, with five incidents reported in just two days this week.
