Niantic has just announced the January Special event. Here is what we know.
Event details:
Start Time: January 29, 2021 5PM UTC End Time: February 8, 2021 5PM UTC
Gameplay changes: 1. Drone cool-down time reduced to 15 minutes 2. Double AP for All Glyph Hacking 3. Double deploy for L8 Resonators 4. Kinetic Capsule distance reduced to 2 kms(only for programs started after the event begins) 5. XM color will be changed to snow white.
Store changes: 1. Kinetic bundles-Kinetic Starter Bundle(0 CMU) and Kinetic Program Bundle(2000 CMU with BOGO offer) 2. New Winter-themed medals(Wintergreen and Winterblue) for 2500 CMU.
