Thank you to everyone for being patient as the team worked dilligently over the past several months. The DEEPSPACE Alpha is now live, and it is the first of a series of launches into 2022 that make our goal of a sustainable and entertaining play-to-earn blockchain game a reality.

The Alpha release demonstrates a few key technical achievements which are critical to the overall project, including minting upgradeable ship NFTs on the blockchain and then bridging them into the off-chain game as a playable asset.

This launch is fully on BSC Testnet so we can verify functionality prior to using real funds and to showcase proof of concept. With your help and feedback, we can expedite the testing process and get the NFT ship contracts onto BSC mainnet at the earliest convenience where you will be able to trade them freely and stake them shortly after (more on this later..) in the interim until the full game launches with play-to-earn aspects.

Step 2: Apply to get your wallet whitelisted for the Alpha at https://test-signup.deepspace.game/. YOU MUST HOLD 500 DPS TO GET APPROVED. NOTE: Even if you were approved entry to the Alpha prior from contests, etc, you must apply via the above link so we can approve it - this is how the entry process works. Once your entry has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email and can proceed (or resume) at step 3. Spots will be limited initially, but will open up as we measure impact and volume. If you were pre-approved for the alpha AND have already requested to be whitelisted, DM an admin on TG or Discord for entry. If you have not, you must wait for approval. DO NOT spam admins, mods, or developers for entry.

Step 3: Once your wallet has been whitelisted, sign up for a game account at https://test-app.deepspace.game/play and download the build of the game for your system.

Step 4: Get TDPS (Testnet DPS) and Testnet BNB here: https://faucet.deepspace.game/. You need both TDPS and Testnet BNB to mint ships on the Outpost/Inventory. (The cost + gas fees on Testnet).

Step 6: The approval for alpha testing comes along with the responsibility of reporting feedback, bugs, and issues via the following link: https://feedback.deepspace.game/ - this is our primary source of feedback and how we will track issues, so PLEASE report any bugs, user experience issues, glitches, etc for both the game and the web app. This is crucial for us getting to mainnet in a timely manner and addressing problems quickly.
