It is said that before the advent of
Kaliyuga. The sages under the leadership of sage
Kashyapa began to perform yagya on the banks of the river Ganga. At that time sage
Narada went to him and asked him to explain why he was performing the yagya and who would be pleased by it. Being unable to answer the question, all the sages went to the
sage Bhrigu (on of Saptarishi).
In order to arrive at a solution after a direct detection of reality, sage Bhrigu thought of testing the trinity, but little did he know who was testing whom.
"
पर उन्हें क्या पता था कौन किसकी परीक्षा ले रहा। "
So, he first went to
Kailasha, there he found Mahadev in meditation. Then went to
Satyaloka (the abode of Lord Brahma) there, he found Brahma reciting the four Vedas with his four heads in praise of Lord
Narayana. Concluding that Mahadev and Brahma were unfit for
worship.
Finally,
Bhrigu went to Lord Vishnu. Vishnu was sleeping on Adisesha and Devi Lakshmi was at his feet. When Bhrigu arrived, he first saw the feet of Vishnu and felt very humiliated. Enraged, he kicked Vishnu on the chest This is called
Bhrigupada and thus Narayana woke up, started massaging Bhrigu's feet and served him with great hospitality. Bhrigu was pleased and ordered the sages to perform the rituals to Vishnu.
Goddess Lakshmi, also known as Sri, becomes enraged, as she felt that Bhrigu had indirectly insulted Vishnu by hitting him on his chest where Sri resides and thus left
Vaikuntha.
After the departure of Goddess Lakshmi, Narayan also leaves Vaikuntha. And descends on earth in the Avatar of
Shrinivas. And Govind Raj, who is the elder brother of God, always stays with him.
When
Lakshmi (goddess of Fortune) descended on earth, she appeared in a lotus flower and was raised in the house of Bhrigu which is why she is called
Bhargavi.

Devi Lakshmi is also called
Padmavati, born of a lotus or the daughter of King Akasha Raja.
(The King Akasha Raja had no heirs and decided to perform a sacrifice. As he was ploughing the field as part of the sacrifice, he found a lotus in the ground with a female child inside it. The overjoyed King heard a heavenly voice which asked him to tend the child lovingly and fortune will befall him. The King then carried it to his Queen and as the child was found in a lotus, they decided to name her
Padmavati.)
Later,
Shrinivas will marry to Padmavati (to fulfill his mother Vakula-Devi's Boon - Yashoda maa asks lord krishna to get married in her presence. So, she comes back as Vakula Mata. As per the boon received from Krishna that he will be with her as a son for her entire life in the next birth, she was reborn as Vakula Devi and Krishna as Srinivasa stayed with her as her son.) In a grand manner.

But this is not true, this is real story taken from like Varaha Purana, Skanda Purana, etc.
Yes, Rk team modified that story but not showing anything fake.
