Robots functions as a promotional and support channel for a small suite of Telegram utility bots rather than a general "bots news" feed. The bots referenced by name across its history include an uploader for large files, a YouTube-to-Telegram downloader (available in a paid, clonable version with its own bot token), a sticker converter, an APK downloader and a temporary-email bot — each post either announces a new feature, reports an outage and fix, or explains how to run a self-hosted clone.
The tone mixes technical instructions with community management: step-by-step guides for cloning a bot via @BotFather, subscription promotions offering extra free days on paid plans, and bilingual English/Persian posts aimed specifically at an Iranian audience, including workaround instructions for a browser restriction unrelated to any bot. A handful of posts are pure holiday greetings with no bot content at all.
The channel's activity has fallen off sharply. The bulk of substantive posts — bot launches, outage reports, cloning guides — date from an earlier, much more active period; what has followed since is thin: a stray airdrop mention, a couple of New Year greetings, and little else. Anyone joining today for regular bot updates will find a mostly quiet channel rather than an active changelog.
On the positive side, the underlying bot suite is real and specific — named, working products with documented use cases, not vague promises — and the outage/fix posts show the operator did maintain the bots when they broke. The cloning instructions are also detailed enough to actually follow.
What's missing is any explanation of who runs the bots, what data they see (a temporary-email and a file-uploading bot both handle sensitive user content), or pricing beyond the promotional windows mentioned in passing. There's no comparison to alternatives and no general "best bots" curation despite the channel's own tagline — it only ever covers its own products.
This suits someone who already uses, or is considering, one of these specific bots (large-file upload, YouTube download, sticker conversion, APK retrieval, disposable email) and wants outage notices or cloning instructions straight from the source. It is not a discovery channel for bots in general, and the long quiet stretches mean it isn't a reliable place to watch for new releases either.
