Vladimir Putin has expressed his deepest condolences to relatives of the children killed in the Kazan shooting and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
On Tuesday, May 11, an armed attacker opened fire at school number 175 in Kazan. Several pupils and a teacher were killed, many more injured. The exact number of killed and wounded in the Kazan school shooting is yet to be specified. The gunman was detained and identified as a 19-year-old young man who had a license for possessing arms and might have been the school's former pupil.
The European Union also expresses condolences to the victims' relatives.
