Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there was no plan to cancel the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) this year, adding that preparations for the Forum are ongoing in coordination with Rospotrebnadzor, Russia's consumer protection watchdog.
Earlier this spring, Peskov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin was planning to attend the Forum.
